operations

The Operations team collaborates with the entire staff to manage various aspects of human resources, inventory and procurement, budgeting, financial tracking, and other essential operational tasks, ensuring the seamless functioning of Innovate 1858. Working closely with the course instructor, the team guarantees the completion of all specified responsibilities.

e-commerce

The e-commerce team is in charge of designing and updating the website, fulfilling online orders, writing product descriptions & taking product photos, and keeping track of monthly website traffic. Our goal is to make sure our website is staying in close connection to our overall brand image, and is easy, and convenient for our customers to navigate.

buying

The Buying team is responsible for selecting all merchandise that we offer. Our primary goal is to curate a collection of products that will appeal to all of our customers here at ISU. In order to meet the needs and expectations of our market, we do extensive trend research data analysis to pick the best products for cyclones, made by cyclones.

social media

The Social Media/Marketing Team is in charge of creating, captioning, and posting all content that goes on our social media platforms. We also execute all photo and video shoots for marketing materials, as well as our social media.

public relations

The Public Relations team creates Monthly Newsletters and Product of the Month emails for our subscribers. We work with our brand ambassadors, selecting products for their content and scheduling their posts. We also write press releases to promote our Maker Market events. Additionally, we collaborate with the Graphic Design team on university-wide email campaigns. Our team also manages communication with other businesses and organizations.

The graphic design team is in charge of establishing the brand guidelines, creating & designing various materials for digital & print purposes, and developing the in-store TV screens.

events & visual merchandising

The events & visual merchandising team is in charge of coordinating & planning various events, develop in store merchandising displays, and create a sales recap after every event held.
